An attempt at blogging

Because I need one more thing to do in my life, I am starting a family blog.  My hopes are that I can share news about our family and our lives with family and friends.  So, this initial post will be short and sweet, but hopefully, there will be more to come in the near future.  I'm sure I will have plenty to write about with the smart, busy and always entertaining 17 month old that shares (read: runs) the house! :)
